Wendy (the momma) was rescued as an infant, by the Sheldrick Wildlife trust! Despite her rocky beginning, she thrived and in due time was released back into the wild! Imagine the surprise when she returned a few years later, heavily pregnant, to have her baby close to the stockades (which she knew were safe!) Elephants are so smart! Hello baby WIVA!
