2020: Ending on a Positive Note

As all of us say "adios" to this most unusual year, David and I would like to take a moment to offer a deeply heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the wonderful people, near and far, who stepped up to take action in 2020!

Despite all of the challenges presented by 2020, people around the world came together to create lasting good in 2020.

* Sanctuaries around the world overcame tremendous disruption and continued to expand. From Global Sanctuary for Elephants in Brazil, to Chimp Sanctuary NW in Washington.

* Long suffering Kaavan was finally moved from his barren enclosure in Pakistan to his marvelous new sanctuary home, thanks to the efforts of countless people around the world.

* New energy has been infused into the long standing push to move Lucy, the Asian elephant, from her frigid zoo in Canada into an appropriate home.

These are just a few of the glorious success stories this year has given us.

On a personal note, 2020 has been the most challenging and difficult year ever faced by Arte for Elephants since our inception in 2015. Our entire business was up-ended. We are eternally grateful to all of our friends, supporters and family members across the globe who have supported us in so many ways. From online orders, to cheerful private messages. We can't say THANK YOU enough.

So as 2020 rolls into our collective rear view mirror, we are excited to look ahead. There are more wonderful trips to take, and more languishing souls to rescue.

From our house to yours, we wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
